6 apps I’m loving as a mum
These 6 apps have gradually found their way onto my home screen since having my first son, and they’ve stayed there for good reason with my second! Some have saved me money, some have made everyday life that little bit easier, and others are simply brilliant bits of tech for you and your family. I hope you find them as useful as I have. Enjoy x
Where To Wee
I use Where To Wee whenever we are heading somewhere unfamiliar and I know I will need to find a toilet or baby-changing facilities quickly. It takes away that slightly frantic search when you are out with little ones, especially on park trips and longer journeys.
M&S The Parent Hood
I already use the M&S app for Sparks, so The Parent Hood has become one of those little extras I genuinely remember to check. I use it for the baby-related offers and parent-and-baby mornings, but my favourite benefit is the free slice of cake, pastry or fruit pot every week when I buy a hot drink at a participating Tuesday coffee morning.
Cubbi
I use Cubbi as a quick last check before buying something that is already on my list. It brings together parent-only discounts across baby essentials, food, fashion, wellbeing and days out, and I have found it especially handy while everyday family costs keep adding up. I just got 20% off some Millie’s Cookies for a friend’s birthday!
First Table
I use First Table when we fancy eating out but want the bill and the timing to feel a little more family-friendly. The early sittings have worked so well for us with young children: restaurants tend to be quieter, we get a discount on the food and we can still be home for the bedtime juggle.
Onoco
I use Onoco to keep feeds, sleep, nappies, activities and the little details I would otherwise forget in one shared place. It has been particularly helpful when the days blur together or somebody else is looking after the boys, because everyone can see the same update without lots of messages.
FamilyAlbum
I use FamilyAlbum to share photos and videos of the boys with family without posting every moment on a public social feed or sending the same picture to several different chats. I love that everything stays organised by date, so it has quietly become a lovely record to look back through too.
