Little listens for quieter moments
For car time, bedtime or just some quiet time, these five are worth trying for gentle, screen-free listening, with stories and activities that introduce imagination, kindness or calming skills.
Goodnight, World!
Suggested ages 3–6. Sesame Street and Headspace bring familiar characters together with soothing stories and simple breathing exercises. A lovely starting point for winding down before bed.
Try it when the pyjamas are on and everyone is ready to slow down.
Be Calm on Ahway Island
Suggested ages 3–6. Gentle stories paired with guided relaxation, with opportunities to explore feelings and practise calming down. A gentle option to try with younger children.
Browse the recent episodes first; older stories may be in the paid archive.
Peace Out
Suggested ages 5–10. Around 15-minute guided stories combining breathing, mindful movement and themes such as empathy. Worth trying when your child would enjoy a quiet reset after school.
Save the movement activities for home, where there is room to join in.
Little Stories for Tiny People
Suggested ages 4–8. Imaginative stories exploring friendship, feelings and everyday challenges. Choose the Bedtime or Wandering Sleep Story episodes for the gentlest listening.
A story-led choice for car time, or pick a sleep story for the end of the day.
Sleep Tight Stories
Suggested ages 4–9. Warmly narrated bedtime stories with gentle adventures and familiar childhood experiences. A good option for children who prefer listening to a story over following a meditation.
Let your child choose a story, then put the screen away and listen together.
